Coffee Morning Raises Funds for The Honeypot Charity
A coffee morning was held at Arena Business Centre in Ferndown on Thursday in aid of The Honeypot Charity. The event took place in Arena’s main reception and was generously supported by over 80 companies from the centre. The Arena team were on hand to supply coffee and were treated to a wide selection of cakes kindly donated by Tilly’s café.
The morning raised £313 of much needed funds for the charity. Based in the New Forest the Honeypot house gives an opportunity for children to enjoy their precious childhood. Each year the charity provides holidays to over 800 young carers and children at risk. This is children in the local area, including Bournemouth and Poole, who might not otherwise have an opportunity to play in the fresh air, have a home cooked meal or simply have somebody to care for them. The HoneyPot raffle tickets also generated £100.
