Forty New Clients for Arena in 2009

Arena Business Centres has had a busy 2009, with its centres in Ferndown and Poole continuing to deliver serviced offices, studios and workshops to over 150 companies.

The year has seen over forty new clients move into both the Ferndown and Poole centres. Such clients have included John Lewis, who based their recruitment office at Arena in Poole. Standard Charter Bank, Mears and Poole IT also chose to relocate to Arena. As a result, both centres have remained steady at over 90% occupancy. A number of expansions have taken place including Commercial and General Insurance who doubled their floor space in Ferndown to accommodate a business expansion and increase in staff.

The broad range of businesses continues to grow. The economy has seen more companies considering flexible space who previously may have only considered leased premises. The low risk commitment means companies can upsize their business space with minimum exposure and without penalty. The result is businesses simply pay for the space they need, whilst benefiting from the centres facilities which include meeting rooms, business lounge and reception area.

‘Arena adopted a back to basics offering in 2009 offering good value, quality and service’ comments Sharron Domanska, Operations Director ‘The Arena team will be working hard throughout 2010 to retain and attract business whilst continuing to do what we do best - providing a cost effective, quality space solution.’
